Pollock is found in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans but in the UK we tend to source it from the Atlantic. It has got a very similar texture and taste to Cod and Haddock and has firm white, flaky flesh and a sweet, delicate flavour. Pollock meat is very versatile and can be cooked in a variety of ways. Pollock can be poached, baked or grilled and the fillet is ready to eat when it begins to flake easily.
